Certified Flight Instructor
Rick is a CFI who loves to share his passion for aviation with his students. He was employed as a First Officer by a major US airline and returned to general aviation because of the fulfillment he finds in training pilots. Rick holds a Bachelor's Degree in IT, as well as both Commercial Single & Multi Engine Instrument ratings.
Darcy is a CFI who genuinely loves aviation; and it shows. He has flown numerous aircraft including the Twin Otter, B-737, and everything in between. Darcy holds a Master's degree and "moonlights" as a university professor in the evening. He holds an ATP rating and is a CFII.
Marc is a CFI with a career in aviation that spans more than two decades long. He too enjoys sharing his love for teaching others to fly. His background includes the C-421, Mitsubishi M-U2, just to name a couple. When he's not at the airport, Marc can be found mentoring at risk youth in his community. He holds an ATP rating and is a CFII & MEI.
Benjamin began flying a few years back through Mt. San Antonio College's Aviation Program. He is also currently working on a Bachelor's in Aviation Management through SIU. So Cal Flying Club requires Flight Instructors to have extensive flight time logged in DA40 aircraft. Our Flight Instructors are experts in instruction of G1000 equipped aircraft and have excellent safety and Practical Exam Checkride Passing percentages. All Instructors are FAA Certified Flight Instructors. All instruction is performed in compliance with FAA Part 61 Regulations.
